GameIconForge ("we", "us") operates the website gameiconforge.com. We are the data controller for information described in this policy. Contact: zjp133@outlook.com.

2. Your images never leave your device

The core icon generator runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Images you generate are not uploaded to any server. We have no image-processing backend, and we cannot access, store, or view the icons you create. Favorites are stored in your browser's local storage only.

3. Information we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to operate and improve the site:

• Usage analytics — aggregate page-view data (pages visited, approximate country, device type) via privacy-respecting analytics, used to understand what content helps people.
• Advertising data — if you consent, our advertising partner may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure their performance. We do not sell your personal information.
• Contact information — if you email us, we use your address only to reply.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for two purposes. First, essential cookies that remember your language preference and cookie choices. Second, advertising cookies served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense) that may use cookies to deliver ads based on your prior visits. 7. Data retention and security

We retain aggregate analytics for up to 26 months, as is standard for web analytics. Personal data from contact emails is retained only as long as needed to handle your request. We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect any data we hold.

GameIconForge is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email zjp133@outlook.com. We will respond within 30 days. California residents may also request disclosure of categories of personal information collected (see above). We do not sell personal information.

10. International data transfers

We use third-party services (analytics, advertising) that may process data on servers in various countries, including outside your country of residence. Where required by law, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Use of the service. GameIconForge is provided free of charge for lawful personal and commercial use. You may generate, download and use icons in any project, including commercial games, without attribution.

No warranty. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that outputs will be error-free.

Prohibited uses. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, resell the tool itself, or use it to create content that violates law or the rights of others.

Changes. We may modify these terms with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use:

• Essential: language preference (gif_lang), favorites (gif_favs), cookie choice (gif_cookie). These are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us.
• Advertising (optional): served by third-party ad networks after you accept the cookie banner. They enable frequency capping and relevant ads.
• Analytics (optional): aggregate, privacy-friendly usage statistics.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. Refusing cookies will not stop the core generator from working.
